Warriors center James Wiseman remains on track to play in the Las Vegas Summer League, Anthony Slater of The Athletic tweets. Wiseman played 5-on-5 full contact on Sunday for the first time since he had a setback in his right knee rehab late in the regular season. The No. 2 pick of the 2020 draft missed all of last season.

We have more from the Western Conference:

Lol tampering in the nba. U DON’T SAY

Tampering You face a face up to $10 in nba

Any member of an organization are not allowed to speak to free agents before June 29?

Is it tampering if father Brunson spoke to son Brunson before June 30?

funny how some teams just can’t do anything right.

Yes because the New York Knicks are well known for tampering and no team (especially recently) has received penalties for the exact same thing.

Cancelling a 2nd round pick is just punishing a kid being drafted

Dumping salary before free agency is not tampering.

Yeah I don’t know what the Knicks did that everyone else doesn’t do. Bet you anything that reference to “expectation around the league” came from somewhere in N Texas.

We’ll give you Randle and a block of cheese.

Considering the toll is a 2nd round pick, I really don’t care. BUT nobody’s set forth any evidence of tampering. Katz is such an idiot. An “expectation around the league”? But they’re off the hook if they do a S&T? LOL. I guess whoever he talked to doesn’t understand this type of tampering, i.e., with a FA (the offense, if there was one, was against the league not DAL).

There was more evidence than in the Lowry deal, but both are still dumb situations that shouldn’t matter. No fans should care about it until their team is penalized, in my opinion

No, the opposite; there was so much evidence of tampering in each of the MIA and MIL cases, that even Silver couldn’t ignore it. Here, there’s none (that’s been set forth anyway).

Paying a 2nd round pick isn’t much of a penalty. The only teams that are truly penalized by the NBA both applying tampering rules to FAs and then not really enforcing it are the teams that follow the rules.

It’s all BS but couldn’t happen to more screw up organization!

Tampering should not mean a 2nd round pick is lost. Dolan should have to perform janitorial services at Penn Station for a month. When the Lakers tamper Jeanie can go pick up loose needles around LA for a month. I’d put money on tampering being a thing of the past at that point.

NATO doesn’t even approve such tactical punishments.

How about a 20 year ban on touring or recording music for JD and The Straight Shot?

Wiseman to the warriors is like picking up a free agent center that you didn’t have last year.

or drafting an injured center after his sophomore season in college.

Knicks cleared salary a couple of years ago and folks speculated they had the in on Durant and Irving. They were looking to dump those contracts the day they offered them, so I doubt tampering charges would be applied.

No tampering by any teams at all… merely coincidence that every player committed and signed at 12:01
